Rise of the Runelords
House Rules for the Rise of the Runelords campaign
- When rolling for hit point gains at each level always assume any roll that is less than half of the maximum potential to be half the maximum. (i.e. a roll of 1, 2 or 3 on a d8 roll would now become a 4 under this house rule.) All modifiers are applied after the roll result is determined.
- When rolling for points of healing, always re-roll a die result of 1. All other results must be kept.
- Critical successes on a skill roll receive a +4 bonus.
- Critical hit deck is optional.
- Hero points will be used. We will not, however, be using the “Special” and “Cheat Death” options.
- GM reserves the right to add to this list as the game proceeds.
